Love your site. The pictures really make the food and culture come alive. I’m going to be staying in district 11 in a few weeks. Any recommendations for that area?
Thanks so much for your kind words! I’m sorry to say that District 11 is yet to be fully explored by Hai and I – so sorry. There is one great place to eat and one fun massage place in District 11 that I’ve reviewed – SEARCH BY DISTRICT – select 11 – on the menu bar at the top of my website to see them.
Just this morning we had dim-sum in District 11, but it was very so-so , therefore I won’t recommend them. Perhaps the best sinh to (fruit shake) that I’ve found – but not yet reviewed – is “Sinh To Khanh”, 451 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, P.15, District 5 (but very close to District 11), open in the evenings only. Wishing you a great visit! 🙂
Thanks for the awesome map, it’s helping me eat my way across Saigon. I have two comments/suggestions. One is that when I click on the “Read more on Eating Saigon!” links, sometimes it is broken and the address appears as “http//” without a colon. The other is it would be awesome to see the yum meter ranking in the map description for each place.
