After several months enjoying California, Hai and I returned to Saigon last night!
One hour after arriving, it was off to one of our favorite street food dinners at Cơm Tâm 390 for cơm tâm (broken rice ) with gà ram (roasted chicken) & chả (Vietnamese pork & egg loaf :-Đ ). Oh, I missed it so much!
Then, it was early to rise this morning to stroll to my favorite Saigon breakfast at Bún Mộc Bắc Hải for an amazingly delicious bowl of bún mộc. Filled with bún noodles, small ground pork balls (the mộc), at least three kinds of chả (ground pork cake) – chả, chả lụa and chả mỡ, and sườn (a super tender chunk of pork rib meat).
IT’S SO GOOD TO BE BACK Eating Saigon!
