There’s almost nothing better for breakfast in Saigon (except maybe phở bò or cơm tấm) than bánh cuốn.
This thin rice/tapioca paper, crepe-like wrapper housing chunks of pork meat, taro, and onion, along with bits of wood ear mushroom called out to me this morning. And the call was clear. It was time once again to revisit Bánh Cuốn Tây Hồ.
A Saigon classic, the bánh cuốn here is still very satisfying … still very delicious! Put it on your list.
